The beautiful gardens and cozy, clean caravans create a unique and relaxed atmosphere. The well-maintained communal spaces, including the kitchen facilities, provided everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like personalized notes and toiletry items. We wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the space!
My wife says that the location can be a challenge without your own transportation. Getting to and from Wai-Knot, especially at night, can be difficult as there are no streetlights.

The room at Wai-Knot Accommodation in Onetangi was absolutely awesome! It had a super comfortable king-sized bed that made me feel like I was sleeping on a fluffy cloud. I loved waking up every morning feeling extremely rested and ready for a day of exploring.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of having the shared bathroom facilities in the same building as my room, but I understand that some people might not mind it at all.

The location was absolutely mind-blowing, just a 10-minute walk from the breathtaking beach. The stunning setting, surrounded by native trees and abundant bird life, was jaw-dropping. The family running the place were super LOVELY and helpful. The nearby food places, especially Casita Miro, were amazing. The little personal touches like homemade soaps and fresh veggies from their garden were a pleasant surprise. The quirky caravan in the beautiful garden was a highlight, with impeccable cleanliness and well-thought-out decor. The separate Maori-styled buildings housing the toilets, showers, and shared kitchen/diner were fantastic. The bonus of free wi-fi, parking, and access to amenities like the electric kettle, shared kitchen. The fact that there were no pets allowed and no smoking on site was commendable. I would highly recommend this incredible accommodation.

My mini-break at Wai-Knot Accommodation was simply delightful. The cozy caravan setup was tastefully done and provided all the comforts I needed. The common areas had a charming kiwiana feel and made me feel right at home. Plus, being within walking distance of the Obsidian winery and Casita Miro for amazing food was a big bonus.
